E11 error, unit fails to complete cleaning or rinse cycle

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker and close the water supply before servicing. Use food-safe descaler only.

• Run manual cleaning: If possible, start a manual cleaning cycle with a Teka-approved descaling solution. This may clear minor blockages in the circulation system.
• Access circulation pump: Remove front or side panels to locate the circulation pump near the evaporator or sump. Inspect for leaks or mineral buildup.
• Check for obstructions: Disconnect the pump inlet and outlet hoses. Look for debris or heavy scale. Flush hoses with warm water and descaler if needed.
• Test pump motor: Measure resistance across the pump terminals. If open or shorted, replace the pump. Also check that the impeller spins freely.
• Reconnect and test: Reassemble hoses, ensure all clamps are tight, and restore power. Run a full cleaning cycle to verify that the error does not reappear.
