Ice maker is very noisy during operation (rattling, grinding, or buzzing)

Safety first: Unplug the unit before tightening or touching moving parts.

• Level the unit: Ensure the ice maker is level front-to-back and side-to-side using the adjustable feet. An unlevel unit can cause vibration and noise.
• Tighten hardware: Check all accessible screws on panels, brackets, and the compressor mounting plate. Tighten any that are loose.
• Inspect fans and pumps: Spin fan blades and pump impellers by hand to check for rubbing or debris. Clean out any foreign objects and replace noisy motors.
• Add vibration pads: If the compressor vibrates against the cabinet, install rubber pads or grommets as specified by Teka.
• Test with panels on: Reassemble and run the unit, listening for remaining noise sources.
