Possible Causes
Control panel locked, Bin full sensor stuck, Door switch not detecting closed, Active error not cleared
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not bypass safety switches. Unplug before testing switches.
- Check control lock: Some Teka models have a child lock or control lock. Hold the designated button combination (see manual) to unlock.
- Verify bin status: Empty the ice bin and ensure the bin level sensor is clean and unobstructed. Reset by removing and reinstalling the bin.
- Test door switch: Confirm that the door switch clicks when the door closes and that the display recognizes the door as closed. Replace the switch if faulty.
- Clear errors: If an error icon is displayed, follow the manual to clear it or power-cycle the unit for several minutes.
