Possible Causes

Loose or cracked water supply line, Leaking water inlet valve body, Disconnected internal hose, Cracked drain pan or tubing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Turn off water supply and unplug the unit immediately to prevent electrical hazards. Mop up standing water.

  • Step 1 – Inspect supply line: Check the 1/4" water line from the shutoff valve to the unit for drips, cracks, or loose fittings. Tighten or replace as needed.
  • Step 2 – Check inlet valve and connections: Remove the rear or lower panel and look for water around the inlet valve and attached tubing while briefly turning water on.
  • Step 3 – Examine internal hoses: Follow hoses from the valve to the reservoir and from the bin to the drain. Reattach any loose clamps and replace cracked tubing.
  • Step 4 – Inspect drain pan: Look for cracks in the internal drain pan or pump housing (if equipped). Replace damaged components.

Do not operate the unit until all leaks are resolved and all electrical components are dry.
