Unit has power (lights on) but will not run or start ice cycle

Safety First: Unplug the unit before testing switches or sensors.

• Step 1 – Check door status: Ensure the door is fully closed and the switch operates (light turns off when closed, if applicable).
• Step 2 – Inspect bin level sensor: Clean and realign the ice level sensor. Remove excess ice that may be blocking it.
• Step 3 – Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes to clear any control lockup, then restore power.
• Step 4 – Test door switch: Use a multimeter to verify the door switch changes state when actuated. Replace if faulty.

If the unit still will not start, the main control board may be defective.
