How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel. Handle electronic boards carefully to avoid static damage.
Steps to address E15:
- Inspect control panel: Check for visible cracks, warping, or signs of water damage on the keypad or display area.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and gently disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the user interface board and the main control PCB.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or spills are evident, dry the area thoroughly. Allow the panel to air dry for several hours before reassembly.
- Test buttons: After reassembly and restoring power, test each button. If some or all remain unresponsive, replace the user interface / keypad assembly.
Note: Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the control panel; apply to a cloth first to prevent future moisture damage.
