Ice cubes appear cloudy, white, or contain particles.

Safety: Unplug the unit and close the water supply before cleaning.

Steps to improve clarity:

• Descale evaporator: Use a Vestfrost-approved descaler to clean the evaporator plate and water circuit, then rinse thoroughly.
• Clean reservoir: Drain and clean the water reservoir to remove sediment or particles.
• Install filtration: If not already present, install an inline water filter rated for ice machines to reduce minerals and particulates.
• Flush system: After cleaning, run and discard several batches of ice to flush remaining residues.

Note: Some cloudiness is normal with hard water, but heavy particles indicate a need for cleaning and filtration.
