Vestfrost
Excessive Water Fill / Over-Thick Ice
Ice cubes are too large or fused together in sheets.

Possible Causes
Incorrect ice thickness sensor adjustment, Ice thickness probe coated with scale, Water level set too high, Faulty ice thickness control circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and close the water supply before internal cleaning.
Steps to correct over-thick ice:
- Clean thickness probe: Locate the ice thickness sensor/probe near the evaporator. Clean it thoroughly with warm water and a food-safe descaler to remove scale that can misread thickness.
- Adjust thickness setting: Reduce the ice thickness setting via the control panel according to the Vestfrost manual.
- Check water level: Inspect the water reservoir. If adjustable, set the water level to the recommended mark.
- Monitor cycles: Run several cycles and observe ice release. If cubes remain oversized or fused, the ice thickness sensor or control PCB may need replacement.
Tip: Regular descaling helps maintain accurate thickness sensing.
