Possible Causes
Unit not level, Uneven or weak flooring, Loose compressor mounting, Shipping bolts or packing materials not removed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before adjusting feet or accessing the compressor area.
Steps to reduce vibration:
- Level the cabinet: Adjust the front and rear leveling feet until the Vestfrost ice maker is stable and does not rock.
- Check for packing materials: Ensure all shipping brackets, bolts, and foam blocks have been removed from under and around the compressor and cabinet.
- Inspect compressor mounts: Access the compressor compartment and verify that rubber mounting grommets are intact and that mounting bolts are snug but not overtightened.
- Stabilize floor: If the floor is weak or uneven, consider placing a solid board under the unit to distribute weight.
Tip: Persistent vibration can damage refrigerant lines over time; address it promptly.
