Ice maker runs but ice melts quickly in the bin

• Step 2 – Verify door alignment: Adjust hinges or mounting screws so the door closes squarely and latches properly.
• Step 3 – Inspect bin thermistor: Ensure the sensor is properly mounted and not hanging loose. Replace if readings are inaccurate.
