How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off water before removing hoses or the pump.
- Step 1 – Access pump and reservoir: Remove the front panel and any covers to reach the pump and water reservoir.
- Step 2 – Clean pump screen: Remove debris from the pump inlet screen and reservoir.
- Step 3 – Inspect hoses and distributor: Check the hose from the pump to the water distributor for kinks or blockages. Clean the distributor holes with a soft brush or toothpick.
- Step 4 – Replace pump if needed: If the pump motor runs but flow remains weak and the impeller is worn or loose, replace the circulation pump.
Reassemble, restore power, and confirm strong, even water flow over the evaporator during a freeze cycle.
