Ice maker will not power on, display is blank or only backlight is on but no response to buttons.

Safety first: Unplug the Weasy ice maker from the wall outlet before opening any panels. Do not work on live circuits.

• Check the outlet: Plug a lamp or phone charger into the same outlet to confirm you have power. If there is no power, reset the breaker or use a different outlet.
• Inspect the power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or kinks. If damaged, replace the power cord assembly rather than taping it.
• Access the control board: Remove the rear or side service panel (usually held by Phillips screws). Locate the main control PCB where the power cord connects.
• Check the internal fuse: Many Weasy ice makers have a small glass or ceramic fuse on the PCB. Visually inspect for a broken filament or burn marks. Test with a multimeter for continuity. Replace with the same rating if open.
• Inspect connectors: Reseat the main power harness going into the control board. Look for discoloration or melted plastic. Clean light oxidation with contact cleaner.
• Test the power switch: If your model has a separate rocker or touch power switch module, test it for continuity when switched ON. Replace if it does not close the circuit.
• If the fuse blows again immediately or the board shows burn marks, the main control board (PCB) is likely defective and should be replaced. Label and photograph all connectors before swapping the board.
