E17 error; door or bin switch fault, unit will not run with door closed or reports door open when closed.

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before working around the door or bin area.

• Locate the door/bin switch: On Weasy models, this may be a small plunger switch or a magnetic reed switch near the bin opening.
• Check alignment: Ensure the door or bin magnet/actuator lines up with the switch when closed. Adjust the bracket or door alignment if necessary.
• Test the switch: Remove the switch from its housing and test continuity with a multimeter while actuating it. Replace if it does not open/close properly.
• Inspect wiring: Verify the switch harness is intact and firmly connected to the control board.
• Replace the door/bin switch assembly if mechanical or electrical failure is found.
