Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Corroded connector pins, Failed display PCB, Faulty main control PCB communication circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or display housing.
- Access the UI board: Remove the front control panel screws and gently pull the panel forward to expose the display PCB and ribbon cable.
- Check connections: Reseat the ribbon cable at both the UI and main control board ends. Inspect for bent pins, corrosion, or damage.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for signs of condensation or water intrusion around the display. Dry the area thoroughly and correct any gasket or seal issues.
- Test buttons: With power restored, test each button. If some functions still fail, the UI board may be defective.
- Replace UI or main board: Replace the user interface board first. If E11 persists, the main control PCB may also need replacement.
