Ice maker freezes water but ice will not release from the evaporator plate.

Safety: Unplug the unit and close the water supply.

• Clean evaporator: Descale the evaporator plate with an approved cleaner to remove mineral buildup that can cause sticking.
• Check harvest water: Ensure the circulation pump delivers adequate water over the evaporator during harvest. Clean pump inlet and sump.
• Test heater: If your model uses a harvest heater, test it for continuity and replace if open.
• Control timing: If mechanical parts are fine but harvest still fails, the main control PCB may not be initiating harvest correctly and may need replacement.
