Possible Causes
Failed drain pump, blocked drain hose, control not entering drain mode, stuck check valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before servicing the drain system.
- Attempt manual drain: If your model has a manual drain or clean mode, activate it and listen for the pump. If silent, test the pump as described in other drain pump entries.
- Check hose and check valve: Remove and inspect the drain hose and any inline check valve for obstructions or scale. Clean or replace as needed.
- Control verification: If the pump works when powered directly but not during the cleaning cycle, the control board may not be sending power and could require replacement.
