Possible Causes
Partially blocked inlet filter, Low mains water pressure, Faulty flow meter or flow sensor, Kinked internal water line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water supply and unplug the unit before servicing.
- Verify water pressure: Disconnect the inlet hose and run it into a bucket. You should see a strong, steady flow. If not, correct the household plumbing issue.
- Clean filters: Remove and rinse the inlet mesh filter and any external Zanussi water filter cartridge. Replace cartridges that are older than the recommended service life.
- Inspect hoses: Check both external and internal water lines for kinks, sharp bends, or crushing. Reroute or replace as needed.
- Check flow sensor: Locate the flow meter (often an inline plastic housing with wires). Remove and inspect for debris. Clean gently with water. If the sensor wheel does not spin freely or the sensor tests open-circuit, replace it.
- Reassemble and test: Restore water and power, then run a cycle. Monitor cube size and confirm that E09 does not reappear.
