Ice cubes appear cloudy or white instead of clear.

Note: Cloudy ice is often a cosmetic issue, not a functional fault.

• Use filtered water: Install or replace a Zanussi-compatible water filter to reduce minerals and impurities.
• Descale evaporator: Follow Zanussi's descaling procedure using an approved ice machine cleaner to remove mineral deposits from the evaporator plate.
• Check purge function: Ensure the unit performs a proper rinse/purge between cycles. If not, inspect the drain valve or pump for correct operation.
• Monitor results: After cleaning and using filtered water, allow several cycles for ice clarity to improve.
