Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small, thin, or hollow.

Safety: Turn off water and unplug the unit before servicing.

• Measure water pressure: Check that household water pressure meets Zanussi specifications (typically above 1.5 bar). Correct plumbing issues if pressure is low.
• Clean inlet screen: Remove the inlet hose and rinse the mesh filter in the valve to remove sediment.
• Descale water path: Remove and clean the water distribution tube or spray bar with a descaling solution approved for ice machines to clear mineral buildup.
• Adjust thickness sensor: If your model allows, adjust the ice thickness setting slightly thicker and monitor cube size over several cycles.
