Possible Causes
Failed cooling fan motor, Blocked fan blades, Faulty fan relay on control PCB, Damaged fan wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the fan assembly.
- Step 1 – Listen for fan operation: When starting a cooking cycle, listen for the cooling fan. If silent or unusually loud, suspect a fan issue.
- Step 2 – Inspect vents: Check external vents and internal air channels for blockages (dust, grease, packaging material). Clean carefully.
- Step 3 – Access fan: Remove the outer cover to reach the cooling fan. Check that the blades are intact and can spin freely by hand.
- Step 4 – Electrical test: Measure resistance of the fan motor and check for supply voltage during operation (only if you are trained and can do this safely). Replace the fan motor if open-circuit or seized.
- Step 5 – Control relay: If the fan motor is good but not being powered, the fan relay on the control PCB may be faulty and the board should be replaced.
