How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the appliance from its housing or accessing the base.
- Step 1 – Remove load: Take out all dishes and accessories. Restart the microwave and see if E21 clears.
- Step 2 – Access base: On models with weight sensors, remove the unit and access the base plate. Inspect the load cell or sensor assembly for physical damage or misalignment.
- Step 3 – Check wiring: Ensure the sensor cable is intact and firmly connected to the control PCB.
- Step 4 – Replace sensor: If the sensor is cracked or tests out of specification, replace it with the correct AEG weight sensor assembly.
