Microwave leaks steam or moisture around the door or control panel.

Note: Some condensation around the door is normal, but pooling water or heavy steam escape is not.

• Step 1 – Check vents: Ensure all steam and air vents are clear and not blocked by cabinetry or objects.
• Step 2 – Inspect door seal: Examine the rubber or plastic door gasket for cuts, deformation, or gaps. Replace if damaged.
• Step 3 – Wipe down: After cooking high-moisture foods, open the door and wipe away condensation from the cavity and door.
• Step 4 – Installation review: For built-in AEG microwaves, verify that the installation follows AEG ventilation requirements.
