Safety first: Unplug the microwave.

Check external vents: Ensure the rear and side vents of the Ambiano microwave are not blocked by walls, cabinets, or objects.
Access fan motor: Remove the outer cover. Locate the cooling fan (usually near the magnetron or on the rear panel).
Inspect fan blades: Check for food debris, insulation, or plastic obstructing the blades. Remove any obstructions.
Test fan rotation: Spin the fan by hand. It should move freely without grinding. If stiff or seized, the motor is likely bad.
Check wiring and relay: Verify that the fan motor wires are securely connected. If you have a multimeter and experience, test for voltage at the fan motor terminals when the unit should be running (this should only be done by a qualified person).
Replace fan motor: If the motor is not running and is receiving power, replace it with a compatible Ambiano cooling fan motor.

Microwave displays E8; fan may run continuously or not at all; unit may refuse to start.
