Microwave keypad buttons do not respond or only some buttons work intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave.

• Dry the panel: If the issue started after heavy steaming or cleaning, leave the door open and allow the keypad area to dry for several hours.
• Inspect for damage: Look for cracks in the plastic overlay or signs of liquid ingress.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board.
• Replace keypad: If specific keys consistently fail, the membrane is worn. Replace the control panel/keypad assembly with an Ambiano-compatible part.
