Possible Causes
Failed turntable motor, Jammed turntable mechanism, Damaged motor wiring, Faulty motor position sensor (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before working underneath the cavity.
- Check for mechanical obstruction: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean any spilled food or debris from the turntable drive coupler. Ensure the coupler turns freely by hand.
- Inspect roller ring: Check that the roller ring is not warped or broken and that it rolls smoothly.
- Access motor: Remove the bottom cover (if accessible) to reach the turntable motor. Inspect for signs of overheating or water ingress.
- Test motor: With a multimeter, check the motor winding resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Also verify that the wiring harness is intact.
- Replace motor: If defective, replace the turntable motor with the correct Amica part. Ensure the shaft engages properly with the coupler.
