4. Test keypad (if service manual available): Using the Avanti service matrix, check continuity between specific ribbon pins when pressing keys. A lack of response on multiple keys indicates a failed membrane.
5. Replace keypad or control panel assembly: Install a new keypad membrane or complete control panel assembly as specified for your Avanti model.

Microwave shows E6 and will not accept keypad input or starts/stops erratically.
