How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Check for lock mode: Ensure the child lock is not enabled (see LOC code instructions).
- 2. Clean keypad surface: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully unplug and reinsert the keypad ribbon cable into the control board connector.
- 4. Replace keypad: If specific keys consistently fail, replace the membrane keypad or entire control panel assembly.
