User-level reset:

• Check the user manual for the specific child lock activation/deactivation sequence (commonly holding a specific key such as 'Stop' or a key with a lock symbol for several seconds).
• Attempt to deactivate the lock following the manual.
• If E12 remains, unplug the microwave for 5–10 minutes and reconnect.

If the error persists:

• The keypad may be sending a constant lock signal or the control PCB may be faulty.
• A technician should test the keypad matrix and control board and replace the defective component.

Do not attempt to bypass safety lock functions by modifying wiring or PCB traces.
