How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains before opening the unit.
- 1. Confirm keypad operation: Ensure the Start button registers (beep or icon change). If not, see keypad-related faults.
- 2. Listen for relay click: When pressing Start, you should hear a faint click from inside. No click suggests the relay is not energizing.
- 3. Inspect control PCB: Remove the control panel and inspect the main power relay. Look for discoloration, cracking, or heat damage.
- 4. Professional repair: Replacing relays or the entire control PCB involves working near mains and control circuits and should be done by a technician. The usual fix is to replace the control PCB with a Beko-approved part.
Note: Do not attempt to bypass relays; this is extremely dangerous.
