How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before working on the control panel.
- 1. Dry out: If the issue started after heavy steaming, unplug and allow the unit to dry for several hours, then test again.
- 2. Clean surface: Wipe the keypad surface with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cable from the keypad to the PCB.
- 4. Replace keypad: If specific keys remain dead, replace the membrane keypad or full fascia assembly with a Beko-compatible part.
