How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside or internal components.

  • 1. Check tray and roller ring: Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean both and the cavity floor. Inspect the roller ring for flat spots or broken wheels.
  • 2. Inspect coupler: Check the plastic coupler that fits into the motor shaft. Replace if cracked or stripped.
  • 3. Test with light load: Refit the roller ring and tray, place a light microwave-safe cup, and run. If it still does not rotate, suspect the motor.
  • 4. Replace motor (for competent DIYers): Access the motor from the bottom, disconnect wiring, remove mounting screws, and install a new Beko-compatible turntable motor.
