Microwave shows E17 and the unit will not start; sometimes accompanied by a faint burning smell previously.

• Step 4 – Professional replacement: Inverter modules and associated magnetron testing should be performed by a qualified technician. The usual repair is replacement of the inverter module and, if necessary, the magnetron.
