• 2. Dry thoroughly: Ensure the cavity is completely dry.
• 3. Touch-up: Use only microwave-safe cavity touch-up paint if recommended by Blomberg, applying thin, even coats and allowing full cure before use.

If rust is extensive or structural, replacement of the microwave is often safer than repair.
