Microwave continues to run the fan for a long time after cooking has finished.

Note: Many Bomann microwaves keep the fan running after cooking to cool internal components. This can be normal, especially after grill or convection use.

• Step 1 – Observe duration: If the fan stops within 5–15 minutes, this is usually normal.
• Step 2 – Check for overheating: If the fan runs indefinitely, unplug the unit and inspect for blocked vents or overheating signs.
• Step 3 – Thermostat or relay: A stuck thermostat or fan relay can keep the fan on. Test and replace the faulty component if the fan never shuts off.
