Microwave door will not open or is very hard to open after cooking.

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the microwave before attempting to free a stuck door.

Freeing the door:

• Gently press and release the door button repeatedly while pulling slightly on the door handle (if present).
• Avoid excessive force that could break the latch or door frame.
• Once open, inspect the latch area for food residue or foreign objects and clean thoroughly.

Internal mechanism check (experienced users):

• Remove the outer cover.
• Inspect the door release lever, springs, and latch hooks for cracks or misalignment.
• Replace any broken plastic levers or springs using the correct Candy latch kit.

Note: If the door is visibly warped or the frame is bent, the unit may not be safe to use and should be evaluated by a technician.
