Microwave exterior (top or sides) becomes excessively hot to the touch during normal use.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave and allow it to cool.

Ventilation checks:

• Verify that the installation meets Candy's clearance requirements (typically several centimeters on all sides and top).
• Ensure vents are not blocked by walls, other appliances, or objects placed on top of the microwave.
• Clean dust and grease from external vents with a soft brush and vacuum.

Fan check (experienced users):

• Remove the outer cover.
• Inspect the internal cooling fan for dust buildup or obstruction.
• Spin the fan by hand; if stiff or noisy, the motor may need replacement.

Note: Some warmth is normal, but surfaces should not be too hot to touch briefly. If overheating persists, have the cooling system checked by a technician.
