Possible Causes
Failed turntable motor, Broken or stripped turntable coupler, Jammed turntable roller ring, Faulty motor wiring or connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the microwave before handling internal parts.
Step-by-step:
- Check glass tray and roller ring: Remove the glass tray and clean it. Clean the roller ring and cavity floor. Ensure no food debris is jamming the rollers.
- Inspect coupler: Check the plastic turntable coupler that fits over the motor shaft. Replace if cracked or stripped.
- Test without load: With the tray removed, run the microwave briefly (with a cup of water in the cavity). Look through the window to see if the coupler turns. If not, the motor may be faulty.
- Replace turntable motor (technician): Access the motor from the bottom of the unit (unplugged). Remove the bottom cover, disconnect the motor wires, and replace the turntable motor with a compatible Clatronic part.
Warning: Avoid touching any other internal components while the bottom cover is removed.
