Microwave displays SE or "SENSOR" error and cancels sensor-cook programs.

Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing internal components.

Cleaning and ventilation:

• Clean the interior thoroughly, especially near the sensor vent (usually on the upper left or right interior wall). Grease and food buildup can affect sensor readings.
• Ensure that you are using microwave-safe containers and not covering dishes tightly during sensor cooking, as this can trap steam.

Sensor inspection:

• Remove the outer cabinet and locate the humidity sensor (small component near the top of the cavity with a vent opening and two or more wires).
• Check the wiring harness for secure connections and no corrosion.
• If available, test the sensor resistance according to the service manual. Replace if out of specification.

Workaround: If SE persists, avoid using sensor-cook functions and use manual time/power settings instead until the sensor or control board can be replaced.
