Microwave clock and settings reset to default every time it is unplugged or after brief power interruptions.

Note: Many Commercial Chef microwaves do not retain clock settings after power loss; this can be normal.

User checks:

• Ensure the plug fits snugly in the outlet and is not loose.
• Avoid using switched power strips that cut power to the microwave.

If the unit loses settings even without any power loss, the control board may be failing and could require replacement.
