Microwave exterior (top or sides) becomes excessively hot to the touch during normal use.

Safety: If the cabinet is too hot to touch comfortably, stop using the microwave and unplug it.

Ventilation improvements:

• Ensure at least several inches of clearance on all sides and above the microwave, as specified in the Commercial Chef manual.
• Remove any items stored on top that may block vents.
• Clean dust and grease from external vents.

If still overheating:

• Have a technician verify that the internal cooling fan motor is operating correctly and that air ducts are not blocked.
