Microwave interior light does not come on when the door is opened or during cooking, but unit otherwise works.

Safety: Unplug the microwave before replacing the bulb or accessing internal parts.

Bulb replacement:

• Locate the cavity light bulb access panel (often behind a grille or on the side).
• Remove the cover and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage specified for your Commercial Chef model.

If new bulb does not light:

• Check the bulb socket for corrosion or loose connections.
• Test the door switch that controls the light; replace if defective.
• If switches and bulb are good, the control board's light relay may have failed and the board may need replacement.
