Step-by-step:
- 1. Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then reconnect. If F6 returns, proceed to harness checks.
- 2. Access control area: Remove the control panel and, if necessary, the outer cabinet to expose both the display PCB and main PCB.
- 3. Inspect harness: Locate the multi-wire harness connecting the boards. Disconnect and inspect both ends for bent pins, corrosion, or loose locking tabs. Reseat firmly.
- 4. Visual inspection: Look for burnt or cracked components on both boards.
- 5. Board substitution: If available, substitute a known-good display PCB or main PCB to isolate the faulty board.
