Emerson Door Sense / Interlock Logic Error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the microwave.

Door operation test:

Open and close the door while watching the display. The door icon (if present) should change state reliably.
If the oven tries to run with the door open, stop using it immediately.

Inspect interlock assembly:

Remove the outer cabinet and access the door switches.
Verify that all switches are firmly mounted and actuated fully by the latch.
Test each switch with a multimeter and replace any that do not change state correctly.

If F7 persists after switch replacement and latch adjustment, the control board may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
