Microwave turntable does not rotate, but heating and other functions work.

Safety first: Unplug the microwave before accessing the underside.

Mechanical checks:

• Remove the glass tray and support ring. Clean any food debris from the cavity floor.
• Inspect the plastic coupler that fits over the motor shaft for cracks or wear; replace if damaged.
• Check the support ring and rollers for flat spots or broken wheels.

Motor test:

• Access the turntable motor from the bottom (often behind a metal cover).
• Test the motor for continuity with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• Replace the motor with an Emerson-compatible part if defective.
