Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave. Heating elements and surrounding metal can remain hot after use.
Basic checks:
- Allow the unit to cool fully, then try a simple microwave-only cycle (no grill/convection). If microwave-only works but grill/convection triggers E07, the fault is in the heater circuit.
- Visually inspect the grill element inside the cavity for breaks, warping, or burn spots.
Internal checks (qualified):
- Remove the outer cover and locate the grill and/or convection elements and their thermostats.
- Test each element for continuity with a multimeter. An open reading indicates a failed element.
- Check the grill thermal cut-out for continuity; replace if open and investigate cause of overheating.
- Inspect wiring and connectors for heat damage.
Replace any failed element or thermostat with the correct Fagor part. If multiple components are damaged, have a technician verify the control board is not overdriving the heaters.
