Microwave shows E08 and will not start; sometimes accompanied by a humming noise before stopping.

Safety: Unplug the microwave before touching the turntable drive components.

User checks:

• Remove the glass tray and roller ring. Clean any spilled food or debris from the cavity floor.
• Inspect the plastic coupler in the center for cracks or melting.
• Spin the coupler by hand; it should turn smoothly. If it is stiff or jammed, check for obstructions underneath.
• Reinstall the roller ring and tray, ensuring they sit flat and centered.

Motor inspection (intermediate):

• Unplug the unit and remove the bottom cover (if accessible on your Fagor model).
• Locate the turntable motor and check for signs of overheating or water ingress.
• Test the motor for continuity and proper resistance per Fagor specs.
• Verify wiring connections are secure.

If the motor is seized or open-circuit, replace the turntable motor. Always ensure the correct rotation direction and shaft type for your model.
