How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: This is a protective feature on some GE models.
- Place food inside: Ensure there is a microwave-safe container with food or water on the turntable.
- Close door firmly: Make sure the door is fully closed and latched.
- Press Start again: After confirming food is present, press Start to begin cooking.
- Avoid running empty: Never operate the microwave empty; it can damage the magnetron.
