How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before accessing the control panel.
- Check brightness setting: Some GE models allow dimming the display. Verify the brightness is not set to low or night mode.
- Power reset: Unplug for 1–2 minutes and plug back in.
- Inspect connections: Remove the control panel and check the display connector for looseness or corrosion.
- Replace board: If the display remains dim or blank, the display module or main control board will need replacement.
