How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the microwave before removing the control panel.
- Check for lock mode: Ensure control lock/child lock is not enabled.
- Test all keys: Note which keys fail. If entire rows or columns fail, the membrane keypad is likely defective.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and disconnect/reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the control board.
- Dry moisture: If steam has entered the keypad area, allow it to dry thoroughly.
- Replace keypad: If issues persist, replace the membrane keypad or entire control panel assembly.
