How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If SE appeared after cleaning or a spill, leave the door open and allow the control panel to dry for 12–24 hours. Do not use the microwave during this time.
- Avoid harsh cleaners: Clean the panel only with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the keypad.
- Ribbon reseat (qualified persons): Remove the control panel, disconnect the keypad ribbon from the PCB, gently clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, and reconnect firmly.
- Replace keypad: If SE persists or certain keys remain unresponsive, replace the complete touch control panel assembly.
